I found this app unexpectedly addictive. I felt proud when I recognized Fonts right away on the "exceedingly difficult" setting, and kicked myself a few times for mixing up arial and helvetica under pressure. More fonts are always welcome of course but I thought the list was pretty deep already.

I consider myself a bit of a typeophile, and typefaces are my passion. From the obscure to the standard, these fonts will keep you guessing for hours. The gameplay is utterly addictive, and the simple interface makes the rounds quick and enjoyable. An update with an extended typeface collection would be killer, but Im sure there could be some rights issues. Great job, ILT!

This game is rad. Its has all the coolest new fonts.

The font selection is pretty good, the game is well designed, the app runs smooth, there is nothing I need to complain about with this app. Me and my friends have an awesome time trying to beat each other at this. Get this if you love type. Get this if you want to know more about type.

I love the game well designed and smooth play. I am seeing a lot of fonts that I would like to learn more about. Please add a feature that will allow user to browse through the fonts in the app. Maybe even tag certain ones that you like during the game so you can take a closer look later. I fully expected this to be tied to a site to buy fonts but its not, go figure.

I Love Typographys app for quizing yourself (and friends) on popular fonts is pure fun. I work as a designer and even the medium setting is a challenge! Tons of fun and hours of play (for nerds). Thanks!

I wish it had a local high scores list in addition to the global one. I know it must keep track because it tells you when you score your personal best, but It would be nice to see that score somewhere so you know what youre trying to beat.

In "see answers" mode, when Im zooming in on a font, I am unable to swipe left/right to navigate to the other fonts. How can I improve when you make the study of the fonts so hard??? Love it. But fix that please.

This app is great for testing yourself, but falls short for learning. The font disappears too quickly for any kind of positive or negative reinforcement. Once you select a name in the list, the word disappears before you can look at it and associate it with your selection right or wrong.

if your font knowledge revolves around whatever foundry put this out, youll do well. if youre a fan of the classics, youll be stumped. okay, Ill give a couple stars just cuz its awesome that theres anything like this. if they added 1000 more or so of the fonts that are important, its be rad.

Id rate this higher if it showed the characteristics of the fonts, instead of just an image. That way, you would actually learn something. I get that its primarily memorization, but showing the identifiers would be helpful.

A must have for designers.

This needs updates to rake advantage of the antiglate screen its distracting as is. Also other words and or letters would be a step up.

Love the game. Just wish it would have an update for the retina display; the beautiful fonts look blurry!

I dont know the first thing about fonts, but this game is still fun. The app is super polished. The new gamecenter leaderboards are fun. Thanks!

I have only good things to say about The Font Game. It has a beautiful interface, thoughtful navigation, and endless playability. The Terminology Game is certainly great for students and people interested in learning how to speak about typography with precise lingo. The (Guess The) Font Game is fun and challenging! The ability to save your favorite typefaces is handy for remembering interesting new discoveries; and it might also a be a good reference when considering future font purchases.

Couldnt wait to get my new iPhone so I could get this app and use it for teaching in my college typography class. It made all the difference. Learning fonts and terminology suddenly became interesting and fun, something that is lost on beginning students sometimes. Helps me keep up to date too. Great fun and great learning tool too. The terminology game is real great, its really helpful for me, as a student. I really like this app.
